Clubs and Groups

Christian Counseling : The preached word of God will minister to all that attend the weekly services and Bible studies offered at New Beginnings Christian Center. Care leaders are available for daily support and encouragement. A meeting can also be scheduled with Pastors for more involved or urgent matters.
S.A.V.I.O.R. Program: S.A.V.I.O.R. stands for Sexually Abused Victorious In Our Recovery. This is a 16-week intensive course deisgned for victims of sexual abuse. Most recently, this class has been opened up to victims of physical abuse as well as other childhood and life traumatic events. This class was written by a Counselor at Cornerstone Church in San Antonio and was adopted by NBCC in August of 2007. We've since graduated over 20 people and have seen amazing results. Troubled Youth Intervention: The Holy Ghost will intervene in the lives of all the youth that are brought into the house of God. Parents are encouraged to bring their children every time the church house doors are open. We have wonderful and inspiring youth leaders that challenge the youth to live a life of respect, love and obedience. The youth leaders and/or Pastors are able to give parents additional help when needed.
Weekly Youth Activities: The youth meets on Mondays for a time of edification and inspiration. Throughout the month they also meet for fun and fellowship. When kids show they can be faithful to the house of God and have an interest in ministry, they may be invited to join the Breakthrough Ministry Team. The Breakthrough Team is often invited to churches and functions to minister through song and dance. They won first prize last year in Columbus TX at Discovery Camp for one of their programs. They will be at camp again this year and in August they will be traveling to Jamaica on a mission trip. (see our Youth Activities page)
Divorce Recovery Classes: This is a series of classes taught by Pastors. Through these lessons the ladies find healing for their heart, mind and soul.
Money Management Classes: Pastors are always giving golden nuggets of financial wisdom during the service and at Bible studies. You’re not going to want to miss anything, so be at church for all services and events. In addition to all that great insight there will be a series of classes that concentrates on money matters.
Holiday Gift Support: We know that sometimes money gets tight for single parent homes. We would love to offer gift support at the holidays to help ease the burden of the hard working single mothers of our community.
Fathering & Mentoring Programs: We hope to encourage fathers to be active members of their children’s lives. Our Pastors know that sometimes the problem can be a lack of knowledge and not a loss of love that keeps dads from their kids. For the fathers that just need to gain the wisdom and understanding it can take to raise kids these days, New Beginnings has time set aside just for you. These life lessons will minister to fathers and an appointment can be made for personal counseling if needed.
